Why use a daily schedule?
It’s so easy to look at your day and feel like you were so busy but look back and feel like you didn’t accomplish anything.
It’s easy to fill up your time bucket with little tasks that keep you busy but doesn’t help you achieve your goals.
When you create a schedule, you understand what you can realistically complete in the allotted time. You are able to work towards your career or personal goals.

You get more done.
You’re actively working towards your goals and you’re not filling your time with social media and Netflix.
Come on, I love a good Netflix show like anyone else. But there’s a time and a place for it.
Like at the end of the night when I can snuggle up under a blanket with giant bowl of popcorn, girl, you know you have to do it right.
Not during the day during your prime working hours.
And if you’re not finding the time to sit back and relax, you need to evaluate that work-life balance because you definitely deserve that R & R.
Do you have daily routine?
Or some people would call it morning routine, but things that you can do daily to start your day off on the right foot.
What I can tell you is that you should not be starting your day in bed checking your phone for social media or email.
Ewww.
Come on people. We said we wanted to start the day off the right way.
Girl, sitting on your phone first thing in the morning is not the answer to anything.
I don’t even bring the phone to the bedroom, that’s how bad it is, because it’s become natural to just grab your phone.
How can you start your day off right?
- Exercise
- Meditation
- Journal
- Expressing gratitude
- Eat breakfast
- Make a smoothie
- Get a coffee
- Go for a walk
- Walk your dog
- Create your to do list for the day
- Think about the goals you want to accomplish today
- Clean a part of your home
I prefer to get my to do list in order the night before so that I don’t have to think about what I need to do in the morning. Then I can just start working from my list and not worry about other things that my come up.
Looking at an overwhelming to do list can be difficult to tackle too so don’t go crazy with a list of 50 things that you need to get done for the whole day.
And if you’re new to setting daily schedules, just try adding your top things that you need to accomplish for the day.
That feeling when you complete a task and then get to check it off of your to do list is gold.
You want more of that feeling.
It will propel you on a momentum forward to finish all of the tasks on your list.
You can’t go wrong here, create the daily schedule.
You can grab my pretty floral printable schedule here, print it out and keep it in front of you while you work at the computer or in a conspicuous place that you can see to remind you of the work you need to get done today.
